Minister launches a new web-site for landlords

Carlow/Kilkenny TD John McGuinness was on hand to launch a new information website for landlords recently.

With the property boom in recent years, the site, www.irishlandlord.com, aims to be a one-stop shop offering all the information and advice a property investor needs for free, including lease agreements.

The site was officially launched by Minister for Trade and Commerce John McGuinness.

According to John Leahy of www.irishlandlord.com, “increased regulation of the private rental sector and the diminishing returns in the property market mean that it has never been more challenging to be a successful landlord.”

He explained that one of the most popular features of the site was the document download centre, where landlords can access templates and documents to manage their properties such as inventory lists and template letters.

Speaking at the launch Minister McGuinness said, “a site such as www.irishlandlord.com that helps to encourage more professional and knowledgeable landlords is to be welcomed and will be a very useful resource for landlords throughout the country.”

Kilkenny TD and Minister for Trade John McGuinness has launched a new information website for Irish landlords.

The site, according to its founder John Leahy, aims to be a one-stop shop, offering all the information and advice a property investor needs for free, including lease agreements.

“Increased regulation of the private rental sector and the diminishing returns in the property market mean that it has never been more challenging to be a successful landlord,” he said.

Mr Leahy added that one of the most popular features of the site is the document download centre, where landlords can access templates and documents to manage their properties, such as inventory lists and template letters.

Stated Minister McGuinness: “a site such as www.irishlandlord.com that helps to encourage more professional and knowledgeable landlords is to be welcomed and will be a very useful resource for landlords throughout the country.”
